Application & Function:
DIN Angle Globe Check Valves is similar to Angle globe valve, but the connection of stem and disc are not fixed. The globe globe checkvalve could run angle globe valve fuction when the stem drops and compresses the disc on the seat, while when the stem rises up, it could work as a check valve. When we need to install both angle globe valve and angle globe check valve on the pipe at the same time, or with limited installation area(e.g.ships),the globe check valve would be the best choice as it could save installation cost as well as space.
And, It allows as one-way flow to preventing the pipelines and related equipments against reverse flow of medium. Additionally function allows stopping the medium flow. This valve is widely used in process industries such as Palm Oil and Refinery Plant, Food Industries, Petrochemical, Heating and Cooling System. Also globe valve is used for throttling flow control. Shut off is accomplished by moving the disc against the flow stream rather than across it as in the case with a gate valve. The flow pattern through a globe valve involves changes in direction, resulting in greater resistance to flow, causing high pressure drop. The globe valve is an excellent valve to use for on-off service, but is highly suited for frequent cycling and control of fluids anywhere in amount or volume between the open and closed positions.
DIN Angle Globe Check Valves must be installed in the proper relation to the media flow as indicated by the flow direction arrow marked on the valve body. This valve is considered uni-directional and must be installed with the pressure side or inlet under the seat.
